Life Members and longtime DSC supporters, Jaco and Magdel Oosthuizen of Game Trackers Africa-Rockwood Conservation, are pleased to donate a 7-day/8-night 1x1 Cape buffalo rifle hunt for one hunter in Tanzania's famed Selous Game Reserve - includes trophy fee for best available buffalo. This free-range hunt is available year-round in 2027 or 2028 and may be upgraded to include additional species at current trophy price list. Additional hunters are welcome at $1,525-$2,000/day; non-hunters are welcome at $450/day. Transportation during this true wilderness hunt is mostly by vehicle and foot with hunting done by spot & stalk. This package includes field prep, transportation to shipper, luxury A-frame safari-style tent accommodations with ensuite bath, daily maid/laundry service, beverages, beer/wine and all meals. Not included are hunting permit at $1,850, conservation fee at $1,400, dip & pack at $900, rifle permit at $350/gun, RT air charter from Dar es Salaam Airport to camp by Cessna Caravan 208 at $6,000, before/after hunt accommodations in Dar es Salaam at approx. $350/night and gratuities. NOTE: $5,000 deposit is required at booking to secure hunt dates and will be applied towards final invoice. Firearm Transfers: Eagle Gun Range is the Official Federal Firearm License (FFL) Holder for DSC's 2O26 Summer Expo and Foundation Gala. All firearms obtained through auction, drawings and raffles cannot be picked up onsite and must be transferred through or shipped by Eagle Gun Range. Tangible Merchandise: Unless otherwise noted, shipping of all other unretrieved items (jewelry, furs, art, etc.) will be at winner's cost. DSC assumes no responsibility or liability of shipped items. No hard item merchandise will be shipped to buyers until DSC bank confirms full payment has been received. All unretrieved items will return to DSC office for shipping or pickup after the Expo. Winners will be contacted on or after August 8th to schedule shipping or pickup from 13709 Gamma Road, Dallas, TX 75244.

Winner’s credit card on file will be charged the full amount for each successful bid (plus buyer's premium & 3% cc fee). Winner will receive a paid invoice at the completion of the auction. All sales are final. NO RETURNS OF MERCHANDISE WILL BE ACCEPTED. No payments will, under any circumstance, be accepted from any third party not being a successful qualified bidder. Bidder names and addresses to which the merchandise must be delivered may not be changed after the sale.

The following provisions will apply to bidders participating in Dallas Safari Club (DSC) Online Auctions:
1) Winner’s credit card on file will be charged the full amount for each successful bid (plus buyer's premium as detailed below).
2) In the event the card is declined, DSC will make one attempt to contact the winner to obtain a new form of payment. If the bidder cannot be reached, DSC may, in its sole and absolute discretion, re-sell the related item. Online bidders are encouraged to remain available via cell phone during the bidding process.
3) Online winners will be assessed a Buyer's Premium of 5% or $300 (whichever is less) on the total winning bid amount for each online purchase. The Buyer’s Premium will be included in the total charged for each item.
4) All winners will also be assessed a 3% credit card fee on the sale of each lot purchased. Fee will not apply to any pre-approved check or cash purchases.
5) Online bidders agree not to use any device, software or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of any transaction being conducted during the online auction.
6) DSC reserves the right, for any reason, in its sole discretion, to terminate, change or suspend any aspect of the online auction.
7) If bidder dissatisfaction occurs with the online auction, the bidder’s only recourse is to immediately discontinue use of the online auction before items have been purchased.
8) DSC reserves the right to terminate bidder registration and use of the online auction and impose limits on certain features of the online auction or restrict bidder access to, or use of, part or the entire online auction without notice or penalty.
9) DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY FOR DALLAS SAFARI CLUB (DSC) AND DSC FOUNDATION (DSCF). GOODS: All GOODS in live and silent auctions have been acquired or obtained from third parties. The winning bidder acknowledges that the GOODS have not been inspected by DSC or DSCF and is advised to secure a competent inspection and test of the GOODS before use. GOODS are sold “AS IS” with all faults and defects and without any expressed or implied warranty on the part of DSC and DSCF. DSC and DSCF make no warranties of fitness or merchantability and expressly disclaim the same. DSC and DSCF do not accept any responsibility or liability for any product, design or use. Any written warranties with respect to the GOODS delivered to the purchaser are those solely of the manufacturer or their agents and shall be the sole liability and responsibility of the manufacturer. All firearms obtained for this event will be transferred in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. SERVICES: All SERVICES (hunts or otherwise intangible items) in live and silent auctions have been acquired from and are to be furnished by third parties and contain the same reservation set forth under “GOODS” above. SERVICES are sold “AS IS” with all faults and defects and without any expressed or implied warranty on the part of DSC and DSCF. DSC and DSCF make no warranties of fitness or merchantability and expressly disclaims the same.. No SERVICES are to be or will be performed by DSC or DSCF and neither entity shall bear any responsibility for the delivery or quality of the SERVICES or for any loss or damages arising from or related to or connected with the performance or nonperformance of such SERVICES. The winning bidder further acknowledges that, in the event SERVICES are purchased, DSC and DSCF cannot be responsible or liable for any political unrest, pandemic or instability that may occur inside or outside the confines of the United States, nor can DSC or DSCF be accountable for any injuries or damages that may arise therefrom. The winning bidder further acknowledges that his/her purchase is final and non-refundable under any or all circumstances, and that should legal action be required to collect payment, DSC and DSCF shall be entitled to all reasonable attorney’s fees, cost of court and interest as provided by law.
10) Bidders acknowledge that the online auction bidding phase is conducted electronically and relies on hardware and software that may malfunction without warning. DSC will not be responsible for error or failures to execute bids placed via the internet, including, without limitation, errors or failures caused by (i) a loss of connection on DSC`s or bidder`s end (ii) a breakdown or problems with the online bidding software and /or (iii) a breakdown or problems with a bidder`s internet connection, computer or system. DSC does not accept liability for failure to execute any online bid or for errors or omissions in connection therewith.
11) DSC may void any sale, temporarily suspend bidding, and re-sell any goods affected by any malfunction.
12) CHARITABLE DEDUCTION QUALIFICATIONS: Dallas Safari Club (DSC) is a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization and not listed as a charitable organization under the United States Internal Revenue Code. Therefore, in accordance with IRS regulations, no payments or donations made to DSC for auction items would be tax-deductible. DSC Foundation (DSCF) is a qualified charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. Donations to DSCF are deductible under Section 170(c) of the Internal Revenue Code. 13) AUCTION CREDIT POLICY FOR DSC and DSCF. Disputes regarding auction items purchased during the DSC Summer Expo, or at any other time, shall be submitted to the DSC Board in writing and shall detail the basis for the dispute and the grounds supporting a refund. The DSC Board may, in its sole and absolute discretion, approve an auction credit for the amount paid, deny relief, or, in extraordinary circumstances, approve a refund of the amount paid. Without limitation, credits or refunds will not be given if the auction winner is unable to utilize the purchased item in the time described in the auction description due to illness, work conflicts, personal or family conflicts or death(s), travel delays, or cancellations or any other similar matters affecting the auction buyer that are outside of the control of DSC or DSCF. DSC and DSCF auction credit policy will not apply to any auction item for which the Donor and Buyer alter or vary the terms set forth for the item in the auction catalog or any other description of the auction item prepared and/or disseminated by DSC. If a refund or credit is approved by the DSC Board for any auction item the proceeds of which are to be paid to or split with any third-party beneficiary, the refund or credit will not exceed the net amount allocable to DSC or DSCF for such item. All credit or refund decisions are within the sole discretion of the Board of DSC and all Board decisions are final.
14) STATE AND/OR LOCAL SALES AND/OR USE TAX: The final sale price of all tangible items, destinations, trips, and vacations include any applicable sales tax, which will be withheld from the proceeds and remitted by DSC on behalf of the purchaser. Sales tax is calculated according to state and local tax regulations. Because the sales price already includes such tax, no sales tax may be noted at check out.
