2-day (2 half-day hunts) 2x1 upland wingshooting adventure for two hunters and two non-hunters in the Texas Hill Country for quail, pheasant and chukar. Joshua Creek Ranch is the 2018 Orvis Endorsed Wingshooting Lodge of the Year, a Federal Premium Select Lodge and recognized by Beretta for Excellence in upland bird hunting. This hunt is available October 2023-March 2024 and may be upgraded to include mallard duck or driven pheasant at $795/gun for a half-day hunt. Additional hunters are welcome at $3,025; non-hunters are welcome at $600. Transportation during the hunt is mostly by foot. This package includes premium creekside lodge accommodations (two rooms), transfers to/from hunting fields, guiding over well-trained, pointing-flushing dogs, all meals and one-round of sporting clays for the two shooters. Not included are Texas hunting licenses with upland stamps (available at the lodge's Pro Shop), ammo, gun rental at $30/half-day or $60/full-day, alcoholic beverages, game bird processing, taxes and gratuities. Arrival/departure point is at the ranch near Boerne, TX; closest airports are San Antonio or Kerrville. Non-residents of Texas may obtain a banded bird license. Shipping arrangements/payments are solely between winning bidder, the shipper of their choice and/or donors. DSC assumes no responsibility or liability of shipped items. No hard item merchandise will be delivered to buyers until DSC bank confirms full payment has been received. All hard merchandise may not be shipped until 30 days after the close of auction.

BIDDER AUTHORIZES DSC TO CHARGE BIDDER’S CREDIT CARD FOR THE FULL AMOUNT (PLUS BUYER'S PREMIUM) OF EACH SUCCESSFUL BID PLACED BY BIDDER IMMEDIATELY UPON THE CLOSE OF EACH INDIVIDUAL SALE. All sales are final. NO RETURNS OF MERCHANDISE WILL BE ACCEPTED. No payments will under any circumstances be accepted from any third party not being a successful qualified bidder. Bidders’ names and addresses to which the merchandise must be delivered may not be changed after date of sale.

The following provisions will apply to bidders participating in online bidding:
1. Winner’s credit card on file will be charged the full amount for each successful bid. Winner will receive an immediate email acknowledgment at the conclusion of the bidding phase followed by a paid invoice once their payment has processed.
2. In the event the card is declined, DSC will make one attempt to contact the winner to obtain a new form of payment. If the bidder cannot be reached, DSC may, in its sole and absolute discretion, re-sell the affected item. Online bidders are encouraged to remain available via cell phone during the bidding process.
3. Online winners will be assessed a Buyer's Premium (5% or $250, whichever is less) on the total winning bid amount for each online purchase. The Buyer’s Premium will be included in the total charged for each item.
4. Online bidders agree not to use any device, software or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of any transaction being conducted during the online auction.
5. Dallas Safari Club reserves the right, for any reason, in its sole discretion, to terminate, change or suspend any aspect of the online auction.
6. If bidder dissatisfaction occurs with the online auction in any way, bidder’s only recourse is to immediately discontinue use of the online auction before items have been purchased.
7. Dallas Safari Club reserves the right to terminate bidder registration and use of the online auction, and impose limits on certain features of the online auction or restrict bidder access to, or use of, part or the entire online auction without notice or penalty.
8. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY FOR DALLAS SAFARI CLUB (DSC), DSC FOUNDATION (DSCF) AND DSC FRONTLINE FOUNDATION (FRONTLINE)
GOODS: All goods in the live auctions, silent auctions, and raffles have been acquired or obtained from third parties. The high bidder acknowledges that the goods have not been inspected by DSC, DSCF, or FRONTLINE and is advised, in the case of firearms, knives, bullets, or other weapons to secure a competent inspection and test of the goods before use. GOODS ARE SOLD “AS IS” WITH ALL FAULTS AND DEFECTS AND WITHOUT ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON THE PART OF DSC, DSCF, AND FRONTLINE. 9. Bidder acknowledges that the online auction bidding phase is conducted electronically and relies on hardware and software that may malfunction without warning. Dallas Safari Club will not be responsible for error or failures to execute bids placed via the internet, including, without limitation, errors or failures caused by (i) a loss of connection on Dallas Safari Club`s or bidder`s end (ii) a breakdown or problems with the online bidding software and /or (iii) a breakdown or problems with a bidder`s internet connection, computer or system. Dallas Safari Club does not accept liability for failure to execute any online bid or for errors or omissions in connection therewith.
10. Dallas Safari Club may void any sale, temporarily suspend bidding, and re-sell any goods that were affected by any malfunction.
11. CHARITABLE DEDUCTION QUALIFICATIONS
•DSC is a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization and not listed as a charitable organization under the United States Internal Revenue Code. Therefore, in accordance with IRS regulations, no payments or donations made to the Dallas Safari Club for auction items would be tax-deductible.
•DSCF is a qualified charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. Donations to DSCF are deductible under Section 170(c) of the Internal Revenue Code. Consult your tax professional for the deductibility of amounts paid for auction purchases.
•DSC FRONTLINE is a qualified charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. Donations to FRONTLINE are deductible under Section 170(c) of the Internal Revenue Code. Consult your tax professional for the deductibility of amounts paid for auction purchases.
12. AUCTION CREDIT POLICY FOR DSC, DSCF, AND FRONTLINE. Disputes regarding auction items purchased during the DSC Convention, or at any other time, shall be submitted to the DSC Board in writing and shall detail the basis for the dispute and the grounds supporting a refund. The DSC Board may, in its sole and absolute discretion, approve an auction credit for the amount paid, deny relief, or, in extraordinary circumstances, approve a refund of the amount paid. Without limitation, credits or refunds will not be given if the auction winner is unable to utilize the purchased item in the time described in the auction description due to illness, work conflicts, personal or family conflicts or death(s), travel delays, or cancellations or any other similar matters affecting the auction buyer that are outside of the control of DSC, DSCF or FRONTLINE. DSC, DSCF and FRONTLINE auction credit policy will not apply to any auction item for which the Donor and Buyer alter or vary the terms set forth for the item in the auction catalog or any other description of the auction item prepared and/or disseminated by DSC. If a refund or credit is approved by the DSC Board for any auction item the proceeds of which are to be paid to or split with any third party beneficiary, the refund or credit will not exceed the net amount allocable to DSC, DSCF or FRONTLINE for such item. All credit or refund decisions are within the sole discretion of the Board of DSC and all Board decisions are final.
